30+ cool Rip WHEELER quotes to Beth, Jimmy, and others!

Yellowstone Dutton Ranch wouldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for branded men like Rip Wheeler, Lloyd and others. They do not just remain loyal to the ranch, as their responsibility as branded men stretches far beyond the daily life activities of a Wrangler.

Rip Wheeler has made a big contribution to the entire series as most of the dark activities that need to be performed are handled by him. Since the very beginning of the series, Rip is found involved in dealing with things that most couldn’t.

God don’t like me enough to give me you in the morning and a peaceful afternoon in the same day.

John Dutton found Rip Wheeler and allowed him to forget the past and start a new one. As a result, he continues to work for the Dutton ranch and takes care of the tasks with greater risks.

Here in this post, I have shared some of the most interesting lines that come from Rip Wheeler and make fans fall for the series even more.

Rip Wheeler quotes from the Yellowstone series:

I look at every day with you as a gift. My tomorrows are.. Well, they’re all yours.

Rip quotes to Beth Dutton about love
Rip quotes to Beth Dutton

Rip and Beth have been together ever since he joined the Yellowstone Rench and started working for John Dutton. Beth admired Rip and they fell for each other. And in the present scene, we can see Rip emphasizing his relationship the most, along with the other activities which he needs to get done.

This is my family. Whether any of you all think of me that way or not.

Rip was still young when he was found and saved by John Dutton and was allowed to forget his past and start a new life. He has been loyal to John and has carried out all the nasty and messed-up missions for the Dutton family. He knows a great deal about every one of the family along with their motivations and shortcomings.

John Dutton is like a father to him who provided Rip with the option to start a new life and forget the past. And he is deeply attached to Beth Dutton.

Getting in trouble’s the only skill you got. The only difference now is you ain’t gonna get caught.

Jimmy had committed his fair share of wrongs along the way, but it was after joining the Yellowstone and becoming a branded man that he could no longer worry about the wrongs he did under the guidance of Rip.

What’s the rule about fighting, Fred? You wanna fight somebody, you come fight me! I’l fight you all goddamn day!

As the leader of the Wranglers, it was Rip’s responsibility to stand up for his men, especially those who were branded. Rip loses his cool upon witnessing a fight between Jimmy and Fred and makes clear that he’s the one who fights for his man.

I don’t need presents, Beth. Just you.

Through the series, we have seen many relationships, and most of them were either interesting or weird, for example, Kayce and his wife. And among them all, Beth and Rip shared the most trust in each other. Rip, for one, never doubted his decisions; it turns out that he could’ve lived alone without bothering himself with women. However, it was John and Beth who gave his life some meaning. And their presence in his life is enough gift already.

These guys, they just work here, Jimmy… You’ll see a thousand of them come and go. But not us. We die here. This is your family. We’re your family.

The Yellowstone series is anything but normal. Aside from the cunning and cruel methods used by John Dutton’s opponents, there were multiple instances where the people under John, like Rip Wheeler, Kayce, or Beth, took it too far with the view to get rid of the problems associated. Every Branded man is looked at as an important member of the Dutton family. They’re those who belong to John Dutton or Yellowstone Ranch in general.

John – I almost lost him.
Rip – Well, it’s hard to measure “almost,” because “almost” doesn’t matter.
John – Yeah, well, isn’t that wise. Who told you that?
Rip – You did, sir.

It was the moment when we, as viewers, were introduced to the idea that Rip Wheeler is a force to reckon with. Within all the chaos, John realises the transformation that Rip Shell had gone through. If anything, he would still remain the most loyal and dependable person, even if Kayce, Beth and Jamine won’t make it as he wished them to.

Life is a lesson, boy, one long lesson, but you’ve got to look to learn them.

Rip wasn’t blessed enough and had to go through a rough childhood where there was hardly any sign of healthy well-being. He had to face the problem which would end everything else along with it. At the end of the day, he ended up with John Dutton and continued to learn several important lessons that served as the foundation of his personality.

They come and go, Jimmy. But not us.

Wranglers/cowboys aren’t permanent at the Yellowstone ranch. However, some special branded members aren’t going anywhere and are forever stuck with the Yellowstone ranch. Jimmy was one of them.

My job is to protect this family, and you are the worst thing for it.

Aside from the Dutton family members, Rip is the one person who knows the most about everything that the family has been through. Initially, Rip was disappointed with Kayce because of his poor judgement and decision-making capabilities. Kayce turned out to be the first person to have disobeyed his father and left the ranch, while others remained even when John asked them to leave.

Kayce invited several unnecessary problems to the family and was partly responsible for the ultimate demise of Lee Dutton.

All right? There ain’t no such thing as luck. But I sure believe in stupid. ’cause you prove it every fu€k!ng day.

It’s always funny seeing Rip commenting on Jimmy’s actions. Out of all the branded men and the temporary cowboys, Rip pays ample attention to Jimmy and looks at Lloyd as his father figure.

I’m gonna give you one last chance. You leave now or you never leave. I’ll bury you where you f#ck!ng stand!

One of the most bada$$ moments of season 3 was the the clash between the biker gang and the Yellowstone ranchers. Although it was already clear that the Duttons did not compromise when things came down to a fight, fans witnessed that overwhelming passion of John Dutton if it’s about keeping a man’s word.

There’s plenty of good in you, Beth. And none in that son of a bi*ch.

Rip and Beth know each other pretty well. They had been in a complicated relationship since their childhood. However, there were times when Rip was confused about Beth’s mental state and the choices she made. Walker was one thing that Rip hated the most and one of the reasons behind his hatred was Walker’s moves towards Beth.

And “I’m sorry” is two words you never have to say to me.

This quote goes to show the amount of trust and faith Rip laid in Beth. It further explains that everything Beth goes through or chooses to do whether it is right or wrong, Rip would still love her and choose her always.

There’s only sharks and minnows in this world, Jimmy. If you don’t know which one you are, then you ain’t a fucking shark.

Rip always wanted better things for the men under him. Jimmy was a young soul who still had to learn a lot about the world in which he lived. The first thing that Rip wanted him to learn was to acknowledge and understand the job that Jimmy did. However, due to certain uncomfortable circumstances, Jimmy had to step up into some risky things that he wasn’t meant to get into. And Rip tries to teach him a lesson.

You know Jamie, at some point, the only way to get rid of the mess is to get rid of you. Don’t put me in that position.

Jimmy hadn’t been a troublemaker as compared to Kayce. However, there were times when he failed to keep up with his father’s expectations, which made things take a turn for the worse. Jamie was responsible for some of the trickiest trouble that the family had to go through.

Yesterday’s what eats everybody. That’s why I don’t think about it.

That goes to show the calm and cultivated thoughts that ran through Rip’s mind daily. He was a man who had learnt a lot of lessons from someone else’s life as compared to his own, which makes every word that came out of his mouth valuable.

God I wish… they would come back to life so I could kill ’em again.

It was the moment when Rip was hurt the most. He counts himself partly responsible for everything that both had to go through, and he couldn’t be there faster even after knowing about the danger.

But I was built to go through hell, Beth.

Starting from the First season till the latest ones, Rip remained strong and embraced the challenges as they came through. Rip Wheeler might be the third fan-favourite character from the entire series, after John and Beth Dutton, and that says something about his impact on the series.

I’sn going to show you how to get rid of problems so they don’t become new problems.

In other words, Rip was building another menace who would stand as a backbone for the Dutton ranch. He showed Jimmy the proper way to deal with situations and problems so that nothing of their kind remains any longer.

He called me his son.

The most satisfying moment in Rip Wheeler’s life was when he was called a son by John Dutton. It was something that changed the entire scenario where Rip is no longer serving John Dutton or repaying the kindness, rather, he now fights under the instructions of his father and obeys his will.

From this day on, Rip continues to look at life in a more appreciative approach where he does things in favour of his family and not the employer.

And we’re all alone, Rip. We can do whatever we want.
Rip – Baby, you’ve been doing whatever you want your whole damn life.

And Rip knows all about it.

You know, when you boil life down, it’s funny just how little you need, isn’t it?

Rip Wheeler’s quote about life

It is a big lesson to learn that being satisfied with little enough is all that matters. Rip Wheeler has been a henchman for years but never cared to save money for any materialistic goal. Here, he expresses his feelings about life in which a little house and Beth by his side are all that he ever needed.

I was born on a dead-end road, honey. This world doesn’t need another generation of me.

Beth explains that the reason she always tries to maintain distance between them is because she can’t have babies. It was a tragedy that haunted her day in and out. But Rip isn’t bothered by that fact and accepts her the way she was.

I don’t want a bunch of kids runnin’ around this fu¢kin’ house. I don’t even like dogs. Hey, you’re all I need. I’ll call you whatever you want.

Conclusion:

Rip Wheeler is the backbone of the Yellowstone Dutton ranch in the TV series, played by Cole Hauser as a cowboy who works the ranch and later becomes the leader of other wranglers (cowboys).

He comes from a very unstable family that no longer exists, as he killed his father after the latter took the lives of his mother and brother. Soon after Rip joins the Dutton ranch, he is met by Beth Dutton, the farmer’s daughter, and they fall in love with each other and their relationship continues ever since.

Rip Wheeler is a fan favourite owing to several reasons like toughness, understanding, and loyalty to both Beth and John Dutton.
