1. Holding the reload button reveals many important hidden features:
If you press and hold the reload button, it will pop up a menu where you can see the current remaining bullets, firing modes and the scopes available to the weapon you are holding.

Dropships carry some annoying numbers of enemies for you to deal with. The longer they stay on the battlefield, the more enemies they drop.
And, to make things a little convenient, you can aim at the thruster of the airship and get rid of all the enemies inside by sh00ting down the airship from the sky.
Aiming is the key here and Recoilless rifle is the best option.
5. The difficulty of the missions you choose should be determined by your level:
With a higher level, you have better types of equipment to overcome the challenges on difficult missions.
If you’re below level 10, go for difficulty levels 4,5 and 6. And approach missions with difficulty levels 7,8, 9 and so on, only when you’re above level 10.
6. Use melee to stun Hunters:
Some monsters like the ‘hunters’ can inflict unique effects like slowing you upon biting.
And they pose a serious threat in the higher difficulty which is generally the result of their unity 😂.
But not to worry, simply melee them when they get too close, as it stuns them for a few seconds making them incapable of moving. And that’s enough for you to take them down.
7. You don’t have to ki|| every bug or Robot that you encounter: 😎
Most people have different opinions on this one. But, just for your understanding, objectives are the main goal.
8. The timer doesn’t mean that you failed the mission, you just lose access to the Stratagems:
Most people, especially those who are new to the game might panic just by looking at the timer. So, keep in mind that you can still win the game and finish the mission after the time runs out.
However, you won’t have access to the Stratagems 😂.
9. You can swap between 1st mode and 3rd person mode:
Another important aspect that determines the effectiveness of most players. As we already know people are accustomed to first-person mode.
Here’s how you do it- for PC Players, click your middle mode button to change modes, for PlayStation players, there’s an equivalent on the controller you can look up in the keybinds menu.
10. Use Orbital strike before you’re eliminated by hordes of enemies:
When you’re being taken down by hordes of enemies without any hope of escape, call in an Orbital strike Stratagem and seek revenge on those who mercilessly ganged up on you! ✌️🙂
11. Aiming for the head doesn’t always work for every monster in the game:
Most creatures or call it ‘monsters’ won’t be finished even after you shatter their h£@d. Which doesn’t usually happen in the case of many other video games.
So be focused and fire until the creature is gone for good.
12. Do not leave immediately after completing an objective:
There is always something waiting for you to pick it. Scan the area as soon as possible and collect those rare weapons, samples, etc. That being said, get moving when you’re done, the longer you stay, the more difficult it gets because –
- The Enemies get stronger.
- You lose experience points.
13. Watch out for those small pulsing golden beacons, they contain valuable items!
You can easily locate them all around the map. Destroying them will provide you with emergency supplies like weapons, stims, etc.
One of your top priorities in a mission are the beacons, 😂 as they might even contain super currencies or medals!
14. Here’s an easy and effective method to deal with Bile Titans:
But for this to be effective you need the cooperation of your teammates as you’re gonna need both, a recoilless weapon and the Railgun. Use the recoilless rocket and aim at its he@d to shatter the armour.
Followed by one or two shots from the Railgun and the Titan will go back to Eren Yeager. ✌️🙂
15. Communicate using the mark feature by pressing ‘Q’ from the keyboard:
You can hold the ‘Q’ button for different types of communication commands, or press it to mark a location. An important feature for those who aren’t always comfortable using voice chat. As for PS players, IDK 😂 sorry.
16. Avoid overcharging your Railgun as it expl0des and eliminates anyone within the vicinity:
The railgun in unsafe mode (you can switch to unsafe mode) deals an unbelievable amount of damage!
And this is where things get a little out of hand.
If you fire an overcharged gun, it will explode and deal heavy damage to you as well as to anyone else closer. The damage is enough to take down all the players around.
17. The weakness of Hulks are their arms:
There are four types of Hulk Automatons out of which, three of them resemble similar features and attack patterns. They would pose a great threat if not dealt with caution.
The best thing you can do is target their arms. In most cases, regular weapons won’t have any significant effects against them, but that’s why we have stratagems!
Target and blow off their arms first, which will make your job of dealing with Hulks around 50% easier!
18. Armours have different features:
Although Armor isn’t something that you must be bothered with, it still comes with effects that might suit your battle style and tactics.
19. Practice the Railgun:
Railgun is what you call a versatile stratagem!
It helps you deal with almost all of the higher-level threats with just a few numbers of shots.
Remember, learning this powerhouse is gonna aid you in the long run. And the most important thing that requires adequate attention is the unsafe mode of the Railgun. Once learnt, it makes you unstoppable!
20. Explore the red Zones for extra exp and requisition points:
It might seem dangerous to explore the red zone areas, but they help you earn extra points, exp and other important points. Consider completing them as a secondary mission.
21. Escape like a pro by crouching:
Stepping away from the battlefield becomes important when you’re running low on supplies or health.
And while you’re running, chances are that the stamina will go down drastically. And the best way to avoid running out of stamina is to crouch for a while. It replenishes your stamina enough to make a quick escape.
22. You can check the Cooldown of your teammates’ Stratagems:
On the bottom left side of your screen, there is the option to check the Cooldown of all the Stratagems that your teammates used.
23. You can also use Stims for stamina regeneration or while jumping from a height:
It ensures that your health is maintained and you’re good to go.
24. watch out for extra Stratagems while engaging in side objectives:
In some of the side objectives, you’ll be able to see new Stratagems in your call-ins. It’s imperative to check if there are any new Stratagems available to you while engaged in any side objectives. Learning to use them might come in handy while in higher difficulties. (They don’t occupy regular slots).
25. Locate the Radar to uncover all the POIs:
It is not very easy to locate the Radar as they are not shown anywhere on the map. You have to look around for them.
Finding them could get you one step closer to victory as the Radar reveals the locations of Bug nests and other points of interest, once you complete the Radar setup by activating it, you’re good to go!
26. Do not engage every enemy while in a mission with a difficulty level of 7 or above:
Don’t overlook the potential of stealth and carefully sneaking around the map without being noticed. Higher difficulty is more about Survival.
27. Use the map for time management:
The time limit of a mission might vary according to its difficulty. However, keep in mind that time flies very quickly once engaged in objectives. Use the map and prioritise your objectives.
28. Don’t get outside of your mission zone:
You might have noticed the warning that goes like, “Get back to the playing area.” But if you fail to do it, the game starts to consider you as a traitor, and the airships above will bombard you until you d!e.
29. Jetpack allows you to reload the weapons in mid-air:
It has many other features as well, but being able to reload even heavier guns in mid-air is helpful in most cases. Normally, you would need to be stationary to reload them.
30. Do not hesitate to use your Stratagems:
If you’re playing for quite a while, it’s obvious that you might have missed many opportunities to use the Stratagems.
Most of them have a short cooldown and something you simply ignore to use them when they are required the most, just because you’re worried about the cooldown.
31. Higher Difficulty means more enemies to deal with, and greater chances of difficult ones to Spawn:
Keep in mind that the higher a mission’s difficulty is, the stronger and harder to kill opponents. The number of enemies increases but their stats remain the same.
